ROOM GUIDELINES:
1. You are expected to know and abide by the site rules.
2. This is a roleplay room, so please keep your out of character comments to a minimum in public, and confine it to private as much as possible.
3. Please follow the registration process prior to introducing your character into play in Marvel Utopia. The registry is available on our message board. We require our characters to be registered so that we can maintain a list of which characters are in play, and to keep track of powers and abilities. Your character may not roleplay in Marvel Utopia until after it has been approved.
4. The Council is the governing force of Marvel Utopia. They approve and deny characters, maintain the website and message board, act as a liaison between Marvel Utopia and Roleplay Evolution, and ensure that the players have the best time possible while roleplaying in Marvel Utopia.
COMBAT RULES:
1. No force-posting. You may state the intent of your blow, strike, or power. However, it is up to your opponent to decide if it lands with the intended effect.
2. Open combat consists of only three actions per post, but again, you decide how best to use them (attack or defense). Also, before any fight gets underway, a posting order will be established and agreed upon by the participants, and that order will be maintained. Generally speaking, we use "pulldown order" as a posting order - meaning that the posting order follows the order of names on the pulldown list.
3. There is no true death in Marvel Utopia, just like in Marvel comics. You may fight to the death if both players agree. If your character is killed, Council will expect a script of the death, as well as any other pertinent information to keep on file in case someone wants to resurrect that character.
4. Please keep all OOC comments regarding the fight to private. If there is a problem, try to work it out without disrupting the rest of the roleplay. If it cannot be worked out, stop the fight and bring it to the Council's attention.
If you have any questions or concerns regarding these rules and guidelines, please feel free to contact the Marvel Utopia Council.
Thanks, and enjoy!
