History: ClassicMarvel info: {Helene was born with her powers and has had them virtually all her life, not much is known about her early years except that she attended Columbia University after high school and also attended the WHO world tour.}
My continuation (and liberties taken to create a background for her since well, yeah.):
Helene is an avid aviator, having taken courses during her time at the University on aviation and airplane engineering. She was a quick study, and soon built her own custom biplane that was equipped with a secondary motor system allowing her to make use of her control over the very air to keep the plane aloft.
It was recently exposed that her mother was one of the unfortunate parties who drew the Joker, while pregnant with Helene. This resulted in Helene becoming a hereditary reciever of the virus, yet not transforming her in the way it did her mother.
Helene became one of the more famous female aviators of the early 1950's, Wildcard Earth time. She had grown up into a lovely woman, her powers seeming neither to hinder her nor truly aid her until a near plane crash in 1952. It was only then that she gained a true appreciation for being one of the infected, though she had cultivated quite a bit of control over her "mutation" before then.
Helene has a sweet personality, a certain naïve quality that is more indicative of the wholesome way folks raised their children in the early 1900's, despite the emergance of the Wildcard virus. Even despite her mother's disfiguration, that of a mer-person, Helene grew up believing that this was to be the normal state of things. There were Aces, there were Jokers, there were those crazy in betweens, and then there were the nats, natural folks who for whatever reason were either not exposed to the Wildcard, or were genetically immune to it's effects. Lucky them.
As of now, Helene has emerged from a plane ride gone horribly wrong. She was flying through the Bermuda airways, and lo and behold, finds herself here, on Earth, some fifty or so years in the future. Imagine her confusion, when she has discovered she's not even on her earth at all..
Helene's acclimation to this earth was a horrific, awful unrequited romance toward Wonder Man which caused some yo-yo behavior in and out of the Avengers, but as of several years ago she's solidly been affiliated with them in a "when needed" capacity as she spent a few years in semi-retirement to engross herself in this version of earth.
So, here's her sheet.
